- A description of what you learned in Thursday's lecture.
- In Thursday's lecture, we mainly discussed what we went over in the lab in more depth. We discussed the quiz answers from Monday's lab. Ali did an excellent job of giving us physical models for certain scenarios to help us understand more. We learned nothing new, just a refresh of Monday's lab.
- Answer questions about the weekly textbook reading:
- What did you learn?
- From the textbook, I learned that solstices mark the days of the year when hemispheres receive the least amount of sunlight and also the most amount of sunlight.
- What was most helpful?
- In the textbook, the physical models were the most helpful. I am a visual learner so all the images really helped make sense of the concepts.
- What do you need more information on?
- I want to know more information on why the Church was so stubborn when it came to geocentric and heliocentric.
