Week 2 Lab/Lecture The big question addressed in lab, and a description of what you did? How do we make a race exciting between people who run at different speeds? Description of what we did in the lab? In the lab, we worked with an overall question that states 'How can we make a race exciting between people who run at different speeds?'. My group and I decided to race chairs, first, we did a trial run and raced with each other and started at the same time to first get an idea of who is faster and slower. I was the slower racer and Elle was the faster. I received the headstart. We calculated our speeds and velocity with the distance to see the amount of a headstart I would need. After all the calculations, we raced and then tied. As a whole class, we did two races and tried to recreate the race with a different style of racing with our style. We ended up forgetting to bring the carpet we originally raced on into the calculation because we ended up failing with our time...
